I love watching the uber un-hip folks at The Today Show try to be cool with musician’s and artists. Matt Lauer wishes that Gwen Stefani would give him the time of day.

Gwen Stephani and crew will be upping their teen-cred this Spring when No Doubt performs on the hit teen/tween show Gossip Girls.

No Doubt will be the first chart-topping band to perform on the CW show for its second-to-last episode on May 11. What song will they play for everyone’s favorite Upper East Side teen queens of mean? “Stand and Deliver,” originally by Adam and the Ants.

Song choice is cool…tv show to appear on Gwen and boys…not so much.

Hot Spring fashion tip for you…shoulder’s are going to super hot this year!

I read this a few weeks ago on some fashion magazine’s What’s Hot For Spring 2009 list and then I noticed I’ve seen super stylish Gwen Stefani wearing an off-shoulder shirt at least twice in the past two weeks.

This was a PSA to all my fashionistas out there.

The long awaited first official picture of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s little baby Zuma. No Doubt official website posted this message along with the picture.

We wanted to share with you the first photo of Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. Gwen, Gavin, Kingston and Zuma are all doing well and enjoying being a party of four.

Zuma was born on August 21, 2008 and weighed in at 8.5lbs.

It’s not haute couture or Harajuku but Gwen Stefani is going to be bringing the cool to the W Hotels bar staff. L.A.M.B. and W Hotel will be announcing that Gwen will be designing the hip new uniforms for the bar staff - short washable jersey dresses - and they will rockin’ them as soon as December of this year.

If you are curious as to how the uber-cool Gwen ended up designing hotel uniforms, it happened, as so many wonderful things do, at New York Fashion Week. The Stefani/W Hotel partnership grew out of the luxury hotelier’s sponsorship of a Fashion Week lounge where celebs can escape from the hoi polloi and the flashbulbs.

“Gwen Stefani was in our lounge last season, and through that relationship she’s doing uniforms for the [Rande] Gerber bars located in W Hotels,” said Jenni Benzaquen, director of public relations for W Hotels, who declined to discuss terms of the deal.”

Don’t worry L.A.M.B. lovers, this venture won’t hurt Gwen’s street cred. Michael Kors has already designed mix and match separates for other W employees. If you gotta wear uniforms to work, it’s better that they are designed by MK or Gwen than Uniform-World or Scrubs R Us.

Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale and little Kingston are now a family of four!

Son Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale was born Thursday at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, joining 2-year-old brother Kingston in the musically inclined couple’s burgeoning brood. The family’s newest addition arrived at 12:46 p.m., weighing 8.5 pounds.

“Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy,” a rep for the couple said in a statement.

Zuma Nesta, huh? Kingston is going to think his name is boring now.

Kingston Rossdale turned two years old and his mama threw him a celebrity studded party. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale invited all the “cool” parents and their kids to celebrate with Kingston at their Culver City estate last Sunday. Among the famous guests were Christina Aguilera, Jordan Bratman and 5 month old Max, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden with baby Harlow, and Victoria Beckham with little Cruz (dressed in a monkey costume no less).

Along with the all the normal two-year old birthday fun, the guests enjoyed a rented inflatable jump room, as well as some small farm animals at the petting zoo. Way to go Gwen and Gav for keeping it real. It’s refeshing to see a celebrity kid party that looks like the soiree’s parents in our ‘hood throw and not some Tom Cruise/Scientology freakshow.

BTW: The only “cool kids” that seem to be missing are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s brood…but as we all know they are in France awaiting the arrival of the Brangelina Twins.
