My girl Fergie is an open book. I love that she has no problem talking about her past meth addiction. She owns it, she’s over it and she’s moved on.

These days she is using the same philosophy to talk about her husbands stripper sex scandal.

On sobriety:
“Well, I’m not claiming to be sober. I think that that would be misleading. I drink alcohol. My father has a vineyard, and [the wine is] really delicious, by the way… Anyway, for most addicts, they would advise never to have any sort of substance. I just have my own journey, and I am very blessed to this day to be alive.”

On the tabloid storm surrounding her husband’s scandal:
“Just knowing that our relationship was stronger than that. We live in a voyeuristic world, and it’s part of our business. But I like to [focus on] all the perks that I get in this business.”

On watching other women flock after her husband:
“For me, I’m not a jealous person. That’s just not my thing. You have to have trust in your relationship.”

On her workout:
“Cardio, resistance and a lot of jogging. I love to go hiking. I’m bringing my trainer on tour. I said I’m going to invest this in myself, into my self-worth, into my self-esteem.”

Not only has Fergie just wrapped filming on Slash’s new video for his song Beautiful Dangerous..she rocked out on stage with him at the Sunset Strip Music Festival in West Hollywood Saturday night too.

Dressed  in tiny denim hot-pants, fishnet tights, a leather bodysuit, studded leather jacket and knee-high boots, that would make any 80′s rocker-chick green with envy…..35 year-old Fergie rocked those tiny shorts like whoa!

The 35-year-old put on a show for the tribute act to Slash, during which his friends spoke of his achievements to reminisce over his successful career. After a presentation by his close friends, the 45-year-old rocker jumped on stage to perform with the help of Fergie, who is a vocalist for a track on his long-awaited new album.

Looks like Fergie has lost the 20 pounds she had to gain for her role in Nine.

And it looks like she’s done it the old fashion way. Hard work and perseverance. It’s rare to see a celeb lose weight the way the rest of us do. Three months to lose twenty pounds. Or four months…or five.

Fergie recently took her stripper-loving husband (and major hottie) Josh Duhamel, to the Elle party celebrating her May cover. One of the interesting things she told the magazine in her interview is that she tells herself that french fries are poison to keep her from eating too much. A nutritional Jedi mind trick.

Fergie discussed her marriage with Josh and told Elle she has “come to know each other a lot better, you grow together, and it makes you love each other that much deeper.” Good for her for being the bigger person. It’s not every woman that can forgive a stripper-affair.
