Grey’s Anatomy will have to write in a pregnancy for Dr. Meredith Grey next season. Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery are expecting their first baby together later this year.

Ellen said she’s ready for the little one and tired of sewing her wild oats.

“We enjoy our life so much,” Pompeo said in the October 2008 issue. “We go to Europe and sleep in. So when I have the baby, I won’t feel like we’ve missed any fun, reckless times together, like staying up all night drinking champagne and having sex until five in the morning and not having to get up until two in the afternoon. But I’ve got to get on it, because the clock is ticking.”

Although Ellen Pompeo didn’t mention Paris Hilton by name, it was clear she was talking about her in a recent interview with LA Confidential Magazine. The Grey’s Anatomy star says that she is tired of socialites

“Who are rich and famous for nothing. We’re so focused on the wrong things. We’re teaching young girls that this is what they should be focusing on: rich and famous girls who are rich and famous for nothing. What are we doing to this younger generation? It’s not very responsible.”

Nice one coming from a star of the Skeletal Brigade. He pot, stop calling Paris Hilton black.

Who goes? All the cool kids. And in their best duds. But sadly, Ellen Pompeo (Gray’s Anatomy) is not looking good. Rumors of an eating disorder are already floating out there, and this picture is not going to help. If she needs help, I sure hope she gets it in time for next season. I can’t wait to see if Meridith chooses McDreamy or the vet.

Rumors are flying that stick thin Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey on Grey’s Anatomy, is the next Hollywood starlet to be pregnant.

I’m not real sure about this one because the reports also say she is just 6 weeks pregnant and most women don’t let the cat out of the bag that soon. But I’m posting it anyway because its fun to think about what this popsickle stick of a girl will look like with a baby bump.
