Producers have approached Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Denise Richards, to appear in the season premiere.

“Denise is an excellent actress who can do everything. Comedy, drama, and let’s face it, she’s not bad to look at either,” a show insider tells me. “Having her make a surprise appearance in the debut episode would be genius and the producers of the show are brilliant for suggesting it.”

So the reviews from Charlie Sheen’s second show in Chicago were remarkably better than his first stinker in Detroit. It’s a testament to his huge ego that he thought he could go on stage in ‘one-man-show’ mode and knock it out of the park having never done anything like that in his life. Stand-up comedians always do tons of dry-runs before they do a big show, but this dude thought he could just walk on stage and people would eat up his bitchen-ness just because he IS.

Anyway, there must be at least one intelligent person in Charlie’s camp because the second show consisted of funny celebrity related party stories. That’s what people want to here. How Charlie Sheen got high with Mick Jagger. Tales from his Heidi Fleiss days. That’s the good stuff.

Speaking of good stuff. While Charlie was struggling with his busted goddesses this weekend, his ex-wife Denise Richards was WINNING and looking FABULOUS in the Bahamas with her daughters.

A source tells the Us Weekly that Denise and Nikki “have been neighbors for years. They have a lot in common and are taking things slowly.” Sunday morning the pair was spotted eating breakfast together at Marmalade Cafe in Calabasas, California.”Nikki was telling stories, and Denise was laughing,” a witness told Us.

So now we know that Denise Richards totally has a type. The typical bad boy. Charlie Sheen, Richie Sambora and now ex-heroin addict Nikki Sixx.

Well…actually 39 year-old Denise Richards in a bikini. She turns 40 next February. But I just wanted to make a point. She looks amazing…and not just for a 40 year-old mom of two …but her body is as sick as any other chick in Hollywood.

After these pictures of Denise in a cute black bikini were published she posted on Twitter that “40 is the new 30″. Amen Sista!!!!

These random bikini pictures are part of promotion for Denise’s hit cable show  Blue Mountain State that premiered in January this year.

Most of us thought Denise Richards was blowing things out of proportion when she was accusing Charlie Sheen of pretty much being the devil incarnate during their ugly divorce. She claimed that Sheen was addicted to prescription painkillers, online porn, hiring prostitutes and gambling and that he was either absent or verbally abusive most of the time – particularly at key points in their marriage like during her pregnancies and the births of their two children.

But now that we know he attacked his present wife with a freakin’ knife…her claims sound perfectly plausible. Denise tweeted out some of her aggravation this week.
