The Hoff’s out of  lockdown. After suffering a reported alcohol-related seizure on Friday night, America’s Got Talent judge David Hasselhoff was being  held under a 5150/5151 psychiatric hold at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA.

Radaronline.com reports he was released on Sunday around 3pm.

Hoff has just come off a “several-day-bender” on booze when he began seizing and had to be rushed to the hospital…for the 345 time. I don’t know if I should feel sad for him for being an incurable alcoholic, or amazed at his superhuman durability.

David Hasselhoff may not be with us much longer. The former Baywatch hunky dreamboat is now a lost cause alcoholic that seems to a slow downward spiral. He was rushed the hospital Saturday after his freaked out 16 year-old daughter found him unconscious in their Encino, CA home.

16 year-old Hayley Hasselhoff saved the day by calling her mom, who lives 10 minutes away in the Hollywood Hills and she rushed to the rescue and drove him to the hospital where doctors yet again saved his life.

This time the vodka-guzzling “America’s Got Talent” judge registered a staggering .39. alcohol level. Drunk driving in California is 08.

A source said a frightened Hayley kept “slapping her dad’s face” to keep him alive. “He was barely breathing when they got him at the hospital. He’s recovering. Pam was his bedside till 4a.m. this morning. This is about the 7th time he’s been taken to a hospital over the last few years with alcohol poisoning. How many visits will it take before he dies?”

It’s disturbing and a sad commentary on the struggle of someone battling alcoholism. But Hoff did try to find the silver lining in his huge fall off the wagon, he had a family member make the video so he could watch it sober and help him get his groove back. He said he needed to see what he was he like when he was drunk.

“I am a recovering alcoholic. Despite [the fact] that I have been going through a painful divorce and I have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue. Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse. Because of my honest and positive relationship with my daughters, who were concerned for my well being, there was a tape made that night to show me what I was like. I have seen the tape. I have learned from it and I am back on my game. I thank God for the love and concern from my daughters. The tape was never meant to become public, but appears to have been obtained and released by my ex-wife. I hope that someone else will learn from the tape, as I have.”

His wife of course denies being the one who leaked it, and in this day and age of celebrity hitting rock bottom being worth big bucks, it’s highly possible that the Hoff leaked it himself.
