David Duchovny is out of rehab and wants the truth to be known. Someone in his camp has let it slip that the real reason for the break-up of his marriage is his wife’s infidelity.

It was not his ‘sexual compulsion proclivity’ that caused the break-down of their marriage, but rather his discovery of explicit text messages on her mobile phone sent by actor Billy  Bob Thornton.

‘Hello, pot? This is sex addict David Duchovny….I sleep with anything that moves but the reason I am getting divorced is because my wife boinked Billy Bob.‘ Tea Leoni met Billy Bob earlier this year while they were filming the upcoming comedy Manure.

So the real reason that David Duchovny checked into rehab for a sex addiction is because he is a lying, cheating, triflin’ man and his wife finally caught him. The National Enquirer says that DD has been cheating on his gorgeous wife, Tea Leoni, for years.

He said Tea gave him an ultimatum: “Get treatment or our marriage is over,” a source told the tab. At first, Duchovny tried to lie his way out of trouble, but eventually was overwhelmed with guilt and confessed,” The Enquirer contends.

Apparently DD has a history of indiscretions and it’s well-known that he puts the moves on all the hot extra’s that work on his Showtime hit show, Californication. I guess that’s why he is so great on that show, he is that guy in real life. In truth he probably doesn’t need to get treatment for a sexual addction, but I’m glad Tea shipped his dumbass off to rehab anyway. I hope she gets to make him miserable for the next 30 days. Idiot.

David Duchovny’s picture has been yanked from the store window of Johnston & Murphy on Madison Avenue and 54th. In July the company hired the Californication star to appear in an ad campaign that was set to break this month. But as soon as he checked himself into rehab for his sex addiction they started yanking down his mug all over the place.

Back in July they company  had nothing but good things to say about him. It doesn’t really seem fair does it? Kate Moss snorts enough cocaine to kill a horse and she comes out smelling like a rose. Dude goes to rehab without getting publicly busted and he gets shafted.

“We are thrilled. David embodies success and confidence, along with a great sense of style, communicating the ideal image for the Johnston & Murphy brand.” But when a customer asked what had happened to Duchovny’s picture, a clerk confessed, “We got the call from corporate this morning to take him down.”

Life imitates art as David Duchovny heads off to rehab for sex addiction. When I read this the first time I thought maybe it was going to be followed by ‘for research’ for his character on Californication.

“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” the actor says in an exclusive statement. “I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”

Has he been cheating on Tea Leoni? What the heck is going on? Was a sex addict before he got the gig on Californication.
