Let me preface by saying that I HEART Christina Aguilera from waay back, and I never like to poke fun at new mothers for not getting back to a size 0 in three weeks.

I am just saying…..

maybe…..just maybe…it isn’t time to pull out the Lady Marmalade outfits just yet Xtina.

Christina Aguilera’s new cd Keeps Gettin’ Better - A Decade of Hits goes on sale exclusively at Target on Tuesday, November 11th. Her exclusive deal with Tar-ghay includes this cute little comic book inspirted commericial where she play various sexy superheroes.

Entertainment Weekly gave Xtina’s new joint a B+, saying, “The singer has banished melisma and belting from these electronic confections, and her chops sound just as hot set on simmer. The real curiosity is a ‘Beautiful’ redo that imagines how John Lennon might’ve sounded if he’d lived into the age of electro.”

Christina Aguilera is back biatches. And she’s doing it sober and raising a baby. See how easy it is Britney Spears?

Celebrities are notorious for putting crazy things in their backstage riders just to be sure that someone is actually reading them. Van Halen started this trend back in the day by asking for bowls full of green M&M’s. And remember this was back before you could go to Mymms.com and have custom orders made. Some schmuck had to actually open 100 bags of M&M’s and pick out all the green ones for Eddie and the boys. Axl Rose used to demand tons of skin mags, Cher had to have an entire room just for wigs, Jane’s Addiction insisted that two packs of Zig Zag rolling papers be in their dressing rooms, and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails has to have two boxes of corn starch backstage before he’ll even think about going on.

Compared to the above lists, the stuff the celebs wanted at the MTV VMA’s this year wasn’t that bad.

Christina Aguilera: vanilla scented candles, four black bath towels , a space heater and two bottles of Veuve Clicquot champagne.
The Jonas Brothers: Eight sugar free Red Bells, 6 regular Red Bulls and 24 pieces of California sushi rolls
Rihanna: Trish McEvoy blueberry candles, Buffalo wings and roasted jerk chicken
Kid Rock: Chap Stick, white crew socks and low fat raspberry yogurt.

The only thing that shocks me from this list is that Kid Rock eats yogurt.

Can you believe it’s been 18 years since that first Madonna Rock the Vote public service announcement? Well it has, and now it’s time for this generations pop stars to do their civic duty. New mom Christina Aguilera is kicking off this years new campaign, but instead of wearing the flag herself she has it gently draped around her baby boy Max Liron Bratman.

In the new broadcast ad, set to debut later this summer, Aguilera sings a lullaby of “America the Beautiful” to her son, who was born in January. The Grammy winner said she didn’t think twice about putting her son in the spot because it’s “inevitable that he will be subjected to some amount of press,” so it might as well be channeled into a good cause.

“This election in particular is such an exciting and historical one, and so I was proud to have my son and I stand together for such a powerful moment and message in time,” the 27-year-old star said.

Christina Aguilera has dropped forty pounds since giving birth to baby Max in January and she’s going to share her secret with you in this weeks Us Weekly. Look for the standard celeb diet to appear. You know, egg whites and veggies for breakfast and fish and broccoli for dinner.

More interesting in this story is Xtina talking about her new E cup bras.

“It’s kind of hilarious! I’ve never fit into an E-cup before,” she tells Us. “I look at my husband and go, ‘Guess what size this bra is?’ And when I tell him, he’s just amazed. We keep the tags that prove it, to look back for memory’s sake!”

That statement alone is enough to sell a million magazines.

It’s a little suprising to us that Christina Aguilera wasn’t one of the celebrities who “bounce back” after baby in two weeks. Christina seems to be one of the handful of new mom’s that put their new baby first and their body second.

Baby Max Bratman is now almost three months old and Xtina is finally ready to start showing off her hot new body. She stepped out in New York this week in this body-huggin’ wrap dress. The obviously still breastfeeding mom maybe looking fab, but if we might just make a tiny suggestion? Either button up a bit more or make sure your nipple flower sticker is not showing.

People magazine won the bidding war for the first pictures of Christina Aguilera and baby Max. But one wonders why Jordan Bratman is not included in the pictures. We usually see the entire ‘new happy family’ when A-list babies are born. Or even B-list baby’s like Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s.
