Check out these look-book pictures from Chloe Sevigny’s new clothing line called ‘Opening Ceremony‘. We really wanted to love every single piece of this line, but we are obviously not on the same fashion planet as Chloe.

There are a few pieces that a normal gal make work in her wardrobe, but for the most part we think the entire line has a very 80’s Valley Girl feel to it.

Oh, and FYI, did you kids know that Chloe is new Fashion Editor for Elle UK?

We have such a girl crush on the fabulous Chloe Sevigny and we just assume that you all do too. She is always fun to see. There aren’t many people in the world that you can say that about.

Chloe Sevigny makes no bones about the fact that she used to love her some acid and/or mushrooms/MDMA/Ecstasy and she blames her lack of adult hobbies on the fact that she took so many hallucinogenic drugs as a teen. Chloe told the NY Daily News that her misspent youth is the reason she has no interests as an adult.

“I think I was just very bored. And I did just love taking hallucinogens. I probably shouldn’t promote that. “But I often feel it’s because I experimented when I was younger that I have no interest as an adult.”

At least this sort of explains Chloe’s love of avant garde clothing.

There are two schools of thought on these controversial pictures of Chloe Sevigny in Harpers Bazaar. One opinion is that rehab has become to acceptable and that the media has a responsibility to not make it look cool. The other, which we are fans of, is that this is a just a commentary on our sad, crumbling society. Party like a rock star, wreck your car, cuss out some Jewish police officers or shave your head then go to rehab and all is forgiven.

Chloe Sevigny is still paying for the bad decision to not fake the controversial fellatio scene opposite her then boyfriend, Vincent Gallo, in the film The Brown Bunny. After the indy film was shown at the Cannes Film Festival in 2003 Chloe was dropped by her agents at the William Morris Agency, and struggled to get any mainstream roles until she was tapped for HBO’s Big Love. (Which FYI she is BRILLIANT in.)

“I seem to question myself every day why I crossed the line in The Brown Bunny, but I really believed in the director (Gallo) as an artist. I guess I just thought, ‘I could go to this extreme once,’ but perhaps it was the wrong choice. I’m not gonna beat myself up over it anymore. I think perhaps if it had come out at a different time people would’ve reacted to it differently. Making it for me was not difficult but the reaction from the public has been very difficult for me to handle. I think a lot of people talk about it without having seen it and that’s part of the problem.”

Ok kids, its been several years and girlfriend has proved herself ten times over with her amazing performance in Big Love. Let’s all just forget the bunny incident and move on. Chloe is famous for pushing the fashion envelope with young advant garde designers, and sometimes the result is an oddly attractive blonde girl with funny clothes. Can’t we just rag on her a while about that instead of the bj scene?
