Underwood has validated my theory that I am not the only chick in the world that food journals as a tool…not a a OCD quirk.

The country pop tart recently told Us Weekly that she has kept a food journal EVERY DAY since losing all that American Idol baby fat.

“I’ve kept a food journal for three years, and work out four to six days a week, even if I just get in 30 minutes on a bike or the treadmill. I may not be perfect but I work hard for what I got.”

The cat fight between Jessica Simpson and the ex-girlfriend of ‘the love of her life’, Tony Romo, is getting hotter. Jessica’s feud with Carrie Underwood began when Jess wore that “Real Girls Eat Meat” tshirt. Carrie immediately fired back by saying that although she didn’t answer, Tony still called her often. Soon after that Jessica told a morning radio show that she was “over” Carrie’s claims and that obviously Tony didn’t want her anymore, or he would be with her. Now it’s Carrie’s turn and the best she could come up with is that “she’s fat”.

“She finds Jessica’s love of putting her life on display pretty desperate,” a pal of the “Before He Cheats” singer tells OK!. “She laughed at the People cover, because it’s the same one Jess did about John Mayer — same smile, same look, except she’s a little fatter.”

Oh, and then she took a swipe at Jessica’s country chops. “Carrie doesn’t think fans will spend money to watch Jess warble through a few badly written songs,” says her friend.

Catty much, Carrie Underwood? Why did the American Idol winner feel the need to tell the world (via Allure magazine) that Tony Romo still calls her? Just to stick a knife in Jessica Simpson’s back? Maybe the reigning ‘cute country blonde’ doesn’t want the competition in the country/pop music industry. Please tell me she doesn’t feel threatened by Jessica Simpson.

“We were both small-town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame,” she says of Romo. “I don’t know. The phone will ring and it’ll be him, and I’ll maybe not answer.”

You would think that with all those country music awards Carrie Underwood keeps winning that she could afford a more exclusive vacation spot. From the looks of these pictures, she is slap in the middle of family beach in Orlando, Florida.

On a positive note, she looks fantastic in her bikini.

Pretty blonde country singer always dressed appropriately and never a hair out of place, and she has a lot of hair.

That’s why these pictures of Carrie dressed in jeans and a hoodie on late night walk with her new boyfriend, Chase Crawford caught our attention because we have never seen her in anything other than the standard pretty dress. It looks as if these two had been snuggled up in a swanky hotel room for days and just decided to venture out for food at 2am.

We are sad to say that this issue, dedicated to women’s empowerment and body image issues, will be the final issue for this groovy mag that we’ve loved since it was Sassy.

The fact that Joss and the other ladies would be so brave and show young girls (and us older ones) what a real woman’s body should look like proves what strong support women can be for each other and what strong role models these chicks are.
