Funny. After he rejected dozens of trash tarts on his other reality show. Oh well. All’s well that ends well. At least these kids will have a full time daddy now. And maybe there will finally be an end to the reality train that is Bret Michaels.

Us Weekly is reporting the story today so there is most likely truth behind the tale that when Billy Ray learned of it Tish’s affair with Bret- as well as at least one other fling – he filed for divorce.

Michaels, 47, “became close to the entire family” this past February when he and Miley released the racy duet “Nothing to Lose,” an insider tells Us Weekly. He and Tish, 43, soon began carrying on an on-the-sly romance, sources tell Us Weekly.

Tish was seen at Michaels’ Feb. 28 show at the Key Club in L.A., and he had once asked her production company’s help to adapt his book, Roses & Thorns, into a movie.

I know they are grown people and these things happen…but something skews ‘creepy’ about this hook-up to me. *Shutter*

But now, since he’s beaten all odds and turned his has-been status into a thriving reality television career, everyone is on the Bret-wagon. As if we didn’t get enough of him on Rock of Love, Bus of Love and Celebrity Apprentice, VH1 will soon air his brand new show Life As I Know It.

The rocker talks about the show with Billboard magazine, for which he stripped down to nothing for the cover. (Airbrushed and photo shopped to hell..but this is what I like to think he looks like naked anyway so I’m cool with it.)

“It’s an all-access backstage pass into my everyday life, about finding balance between my passion for my family, my relationship with [girlfriend] Kristi [Gibson] and being on the road,” he told Billboard.

As for the haters who call him an ‘aging rocker’ he said the other alternative is ‘dead rocker,’ so he’s happy to take aging any day. So there!

The ceremony, featuring genetically fortunate contestants from more than 80 nations, airs live from Las Vegas on August 23 on NBC, where Morales reports for “Today” and Michaels recently won pageant co-owner Donal Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Not too shabby for a dude who just recovered from a brain hemorrhage and various and sundry other health issues. Maybe Bret can bring some kind of cool to the incredibly lame beauty pageant.

Bret is so old-school rock-n-roll that he ignored his doctors’ advice and took to the Idol stage for a duet with finalist Casey James.

The ailing rocker, who is still recovering from a near-fatal brain hemorrhage and a recent stroke, was an instant hit with fans, who gave him a standing ovation as he walked out to sing a rendition of Poison’s Every Rose Has Its Thorn.

And Cowell was left so impressed he’s considering handing him his judging seat now that the Brit has quit the show after nine years on the panel. He says, “Actually, he’d be good. He’s funny. He’s got experience. He’d be a good choice – and you saw the audience reaction to him. They love him.”

This might be a good move for the ailing rock star. A steady gig without so much traveling might be good for him. AI is only going to last a few more seasons anyway. I’m sure Bret can hang in that long.

Bret Michaels performed Every Rose Has It’s Thorn last night and looked and sounded just fine.

Bret Michaels has suffered what doctors call a “warning stroke” and has been diagnosed with a patent forum ovale, or hole in the heart, according to a report Thursday on his website. Michaels’ publicist, Joann Mignano, confirmed the report.

Michaels was hospitalized after experiencing numbness on the left side of his body, particularly in his face and hands.

Doctors say the condition is operable and treatable and likely unrelated to the brain hemorrhage the 47-year-old suffered last month.

Michaels’ neurosurgeon said that while the Poison frontman has a “fantastic attitude” about making a full recovery, “Bret’s brain and body are not quite 100 percent yet, especially with the hole found in his heart.”

So slow the freak down..cancel the tour…tell Donald to screw off and get well dude!

“Well, the fact that he was talking to me, and giving me information, I thought that was great. I understood that this was a terrible ordeal that he was going through. We’re not getting information right now. I guess no news is good news.He sounded a little slow, but fine,” Sychak said. “He was talking, not as cheerful as he usually is. But I guess he is under sedation. But he understood what he was saying and knew me. Everything seemed good that way.”

But then late Tuesday The Huffington Post reported that Bret suffered a setback that could cause seizures. So really…we don’t know what the hell is going on.

Earlier today Bret was rushed to an unknown hospital and is currently in ICU with brain hemorrhage.

Bret was complaining of a massive headache recently. When he went to get checked out doctors discovered he suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage (bleeding at the base of his brain stem).

“After several CAT scans, MRIs and a angiogram, [doctors] decided to keep Michaels in the ICU and are running several tests to determine the cause. [It] will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation,” the source says.

I will literally freak the flip out if he doesn’t recover. The worst fight I ever had with my parents as a smartass teenager was over buying Poison’s first album (Look What The Cat Dragged In). Actually it was so long ago that I bought it on cassette tape. Ha! Top that young readers!

Get well Bret. Retro 80′s glam and crappy reality tv would never be the same without you.
