Second Trailer For “World War Z”

Zombies are so mainstream now that they have their own summer blockbuster starring Brad Pitt.

World War Z trailer part deux…I never thought I would see this guy fighting zombies. Somehow he is pulling off. It’s like a golden aura surrounds Brad Pitt. If anyone else had done those cheesy Chanel ads and then put this movie out the ‘cheese’ jokes would never stop.

But there is something about watching Brad Pitt killing zombies to save his family that is so freakin sexy.

First Trailer Brad Pitt’s Zombie Movie “World War Z”

You know zombies have made it when Brad Pitt makes a movie about them.  Zombies are the new vampires.

I’ve heard for months now that World War Z was a bi-atch to get made, almost didn’t make it and that the end result is that it’s not that great. Even with tons of flesh-eating zombies and very sexy kicking-zombie-ass Brad Pitt.

The trailer looks good…but they always do…

Part Two – Brad Pitt’s Chanel No.5 Ad Campaign

Chanel released the second part of the Brad Pitt Chanel No. 5 campaign today…I don’t hate it like some of the other celeb bloggers out there. I think it’s sort of clever they used a blond and a brunette to conjure images of both Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie.

Here’s a refresher of Part 1 followed by Part 2…enjoy.

Video: Brad Pitt Chanel No. 5 Commercial

Take a few minutes this morning to let Brad Pitt seduce you. Or make you feel like you really need to go get some Chanel No. 5.

I suggest you just watch the video and enjoy it for what it is…if you read the below statement that Brad released about the perfume you might get the same ‘give-me-a-break-you-self-indulgent-actor-it’s-just-a-perfume’ vibe that I got. You really don’t have to make a ‘statement’ about a product you are promoting…we get it…Chanel paid you BIG BUCKS for this campaign. You have 100 kids and big charities to fund…it’s all good Brad. You don’t need to add importance to it to make it ok for you promote.

‘What’s important to remember about Chanel N°5 is how revolutionary this fragrance is. When it was introduced, it broke all the rules by discarding meaningless ornamentation for an honest and open aesthetic, and a scent which embodies liberation from trend, creating a fragrance which remains as modern today as it was during it’s inception. Chanel N°5 has always been the most iconic women’s fragrance.

‘The beauty of its success for all these years is both elegantly simple and complex at the same time. That’s what I see being the appeal of this campaign ; it goes beyond the abstract of emotion or beauty to evoke what is timeless, a woman’s spirit,’ he continued.

Brad Pitt Goes Rasta In Interview Magazine

This is the picture from Brad Pitt’s recent Interview Magazine photo spread that is getting the most attention..it’s not my favorite but it’s pretty cool transformation. It’s a decent interview with a few interesting ‘mature Brad’ bits of wisdom…but the pictures shot by Steven Klein really steal the show.

By far my favorites are the pictures of Brad looking like a hot-70′s bad ass…sort of like a hotter, more manly Hyde on That 70′s Show.

On being a bit more selective on film roles‘I want it to be worthy enough of a story to leave the family, you know? They’re everything,’ he says of his six children with Angelina Jolie. ‘The family is first.’The actor said he feels accomplished enough in his career to be more discerning, admitting he feels now he can ‘jump into anything and lay something down that’s quality.’

On spending his time away from his family with people who aren’t talent-less idiots: ‘…As I get older, it’s about the company that I keep,’ Pitt says. ’That’s the most important thing to me – that if I’m gonna spend however long it takes to make a movie, give up 14 hours a day for however many weeks or months, then it’s very important for me to know that I’m working with people who I respect and enjoy and that we’re going for something together. ’That’s it, really.’
