I guess Demi Moore decided it was time to cut her losses and move the freak on.

Demi Moore is ending her marriage to fellow actor Ashton Kutcher, she told The Associated Press on Thursday. Moore, 49, and Kutcher, 33, were wed in September 2005.

The couple’s relationship became tabloid fodder in recent months as rumors swirled about Kutcher’s alleged infidelity.

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation,” she said in her statement to the AP.

“I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi,” Kutcher tweeted Thursday. “Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail.”

Sometimes when your husband gets caught hooking up with a blond in a hot tub.

Ashton tweeted this: “How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste” after he says he assumed he was fired for poor performance. After which he got about6 million tweets back calling him an idiot he decided he was not responsible enough to handle his huge following any longer.

He tweeted his apology shortly after and announced that he would letting someone else manage his account from now on. See below the picture for complete response.

Up until today, I have posted virtually every one of my tweets on my own, but clearly the platform has become too big to be managed by a single individual. When I started using twitter, it was a communication platform that people could say what they were thinking in real time and if their facts were wrong the community would quickly and helpfully reframe an opinion. It was a conversation, a community driven education tool, and opinion center that encouraged healthy debate. It seems that today that twitter has grown into a mass publishing platform, where ones tweets quickly become news that is broadcast around the world and misinformation becomes volatile fodder for critics.

Last night after returning home from work, I walked by the television and simply saw a headline that Joe Paterno had been fired. Having no more information than that, I assumed that he had been fired due to poor performance as an aging coach. As a football fan and someone who had watched Joe’s career move from that of legend/innovator to a head coach that fulfilled his duty in the booth, I assumed that the university had let him go due to football related issues. With that assumption (how dare I assume) I posted a tweet defending his career. I then when about my evening, had some dinner, did a little work, and about an hour later turned on ESPN where I got the full story. I quickly went back on my twitter account and found a hailstorm of responses calling me an “idiot” and several other expletives that I’ve become accustom to hearing for almost anything I post. I quickly retracted and deleted my previous post; however, that didn’t seem enough to satisfy people’s outrage at my misinformed post. I am truly sorry. And moreover am going to take action to ensure that it doesn’t happen again. And as an advocate in the fight against child sexual exploitation, I could not be more deeply saddened by the events at Penn State.

A collection of over 8 million followers is not to be taken for granted. I feel responsible to deliver informed opinions and not spread gossip or rumors through my twitter feed. While I feel that running this feed myself gives me a closer relationship to my friends and fans I’ve come to realize that it has grown into more than a fun tool to communicate with people. While I will continue to express myself through @Aplusk, I’m going to turn the management of the feed over to my team at Katalyst as a secondary editorial measure, to ensure the quality of its content. My sincere apologies to anyone who I offended. It was a mistake that will not happen again.

“He just came up and kissed me,” the Texas native tells Us of Kutcher’s first bold move in the wee hours; minutes later, Leal, Kutcher and another young woman were completely nude and in a hot tub on the balcony.

“I didn’t think it was out of the ordinary,” Leal admits. “I wasn’t self-conscious about getting naked.” When Kutcher claimed that he was “separated” from wife Moore, 48, Leal tells Us she believed him.

After retreating to Kutcher’s bedroom past 6 a.m., “he lost his towel and I took my robe off,” Leal says. “Then we had sex. He was good,” Leal reveals. “It wasn’t weird or perverted.” It also wasn’t 100 percent safe, either: Leal tells Us that Kutcher did not wear a condom during their one-on-one encounter.

The post-coital talk was a little unexpected, she confesses; the duo talked astrology (they’re both Aquarius), religion, love, even politics. “I told him I was a Lutheran from Texas. He said, ‘Oh my gosh! Are you a Republican?’” Leal says.

Democratic-leaning Kutcher quizzed her on “up-and-coming candidates. I said Rick Perry. He asked if I’d vote for him. I said I didn’t know and he laughed. He laughed at pretty much everything I said.”

But it wasn’t all twenty questions between the lovers, according to Leal. After having sex for a second time — and arguing over Leal’s cell phone — the married Two and a Half Men star was tender.

“He was like, ‘I enjoy things like this because I’m an actor 90 percent of the time and it’s fake. It’s nice to have moments that are real,’” Leal recalls.

Last night an entertainment industry insider said: ‘Miss Moore has been totally humiliated. On Friday, therefore, she consulted a lawyer about getting a divorce.

‘The discussion included her living arrangements and how a divorce  would impact her assets. She is worth about £97 million and Kutcher is also worth close to that. This is a huge and very tough decision for Miss Moore to take. But her trust has been shattered.’

In a play on the ‘all will be revealed’ campaign the producers of Two and Half Men launched about a month ago, Ellen joined the cast the show in the buff on a huge billboard and then had Ashton strip down backstage at her show…to reveal it all!

The episode will air on September 12.

“Here’s the best piece of advice I got when I was a teenager,” said the new “Two and a Half Men” actor, who was named choice actor in a romantic comedy for his role in “No Strings Attached.”

Ashton told the audience,  ”Don’t ever charge anything on a credit card if you don’t already have the money in the bank to pay for it.”

The 33-year-old, who was dressed casual wearing a plaid shirt, straw hat and sunglasses, ended his speech singing a lengthy rendition of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” with the crowd eventually joining him.

In attendance at Charlie Harper’s funeral were Alan (Jon Cryer), Jake (Angus T. Jones), Charlie’s stalker Rose (Melanie Lynskey) and one of Charlie’s exes (Jenny McCarthy), sources present for the taping told the site. The audience was only privy to certain scenes of the premiere, as to not reveal Charlie’s actual cause of death. Some sort of “accident” was the only thing mentioned in front of the live studio audience, though multiple takes were shot. (We’re guessing it’s an overdose of tiger blood, no?)
