This is not the Adam Levine you watch being all cute and witty on The Voice.
If you DVR’d American Horror Story then stop reading now because SPOILERS are coming.
On last nights premiere Adam played Leo on show, who recently married wife Teresa, played by Jenna Dewan-Tatum. The newlyweds were on a ‘haunted honeymoon’ as they traveled to Briarcliff Manor insane asylum. And then all hell broke loose….
After hunting for the most haunted places in the country the asylum was their last stop, but after trying to get intimate to enjoy their honeymoon they soon realised they were not alone and that it could become their final stop altogether. And the scenes were so controversial thanks to the content that an age restriction was put on a teaser clip on the show’s Facebook page, which was tagged with the line: ‘Only we can make insanity look this sexy.’
Details calls Adam Levine The New King of Pop in their latest interview with The Voice star. After you read this cute article about him..you might agree.
Adam talked about his image as a rock-n-roll ladies man, how hard it is to judge on The Voice and why he hates flying. Click here to read the entire interview.
On his dating reputation: “I’ve always felt a little misrepresented in the world,” he explains. “I felt like people only knew me as a singer who dated pretty girls. A little bit of a bimbo. Maybe I was kind of a bimbo,” he adds, laughing. “I was the music dude that was naked all the time with the girls, and that’s fine, no problem with that.” (Levine and Vyalitsyna posed together in the altogether for Russian Vogue.) “But I wanted to create a little balance. When the show came around, I thought, ‘People now know that I have a brain.’”
On Flying: With the band jetting to Costa Rica tomorrow to headline a festival, Levine, a fearful flier, is eager to schedule a session. He starts to sing the chorus of Buddy Holly’s “That’ll Be the Day,” a ritual meant to appease the gods who watch over rock stars traveling on chartered flights. (Holly was killed when his plane crashed in 1959.) “I hate flying,” Levine says. “Know why? Because no one really understands how planes actually work.“
On Maroon 5′s Coolness Factor: “A lot of people perceive our music as very safe,” Levine says unapologetically, “but it was a reaction to the conformity I was rebelling against. When I graduated high school, I moved to the east side of Hollywood and everyone was hip and cool. Everybody wanted to be the Strokes, and I wanted to sound like Michael Jackson and write pop songs. Maroon 5 may not be groundbreaking—we’re not fucking Arcade Fire—but we did shit that other bands weren’t really getting down with.
“We’re counting on the cultural-feedback loop to pull a Journey on us,” he continues, half joking. “Journey wasn’t cool. Now I can’t go out one night without somebody screaming the words to that fucking song. That’s what we’re banking on. We’ll play Coachella in 15 years.”
Blake Shelton on first meeting The Levine:“The first time I went to Adam’s house,” says the country singer and fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton, “I told him, ‘Man, you’re exactly the rock star I wanted you to be.’ There’s a grand piano in his bedroom. From his pool outside, you look up the hill and there’s the Hollywood sign. I mean, there were models hanging around. It was badass.”
The eternally single and/or heartbroken Jennifer Love Hewitt wants to get her hooks into the newly single Adam Levine. He’s a skirt-chaser and a serial womanizer and that’s exactly the kind of guy Jennifer usually falls for…so this might be a match made in heaven.
“I always have my eyes out,” the Client List actress, 33, says in an interview airing Thursday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again … I’m just saying.”
The Maroon 5 frontman and judge on The Voice is indeed single, having split from his girlfriend of two years, model Anne Vyalitsyna. Now, Hewitt thinks she should probably swoop in.
“Look, we would be cute,” she says, as DeGeneres shows a photo of Levine, 33.
This might be the most awkward Rolling Stone magazine cover ever. It looks like Adam Lavine doesn’t want to get Christina Aguilera’s cooties on him.
And you can tell by this behind the scenes video that they had other options to go with. Blake Shelton looks uncomfortable with the whole thing..his wife probably told him not to even touch Xtina and bring that junk home. CeeLo looks cool as usual though. He ‘s just CeeLo being cool ass CeeLo.
I don’t know. I’m so on the fence about Adam Levine. He is sexy in his own way. But he thinks he is way sexier than he actually is.
When you watch him on tv you can tell he was at one time a nice boy. But so many stupid girls have slept with him he thinks he is a 10 when he’s really more like a high 6. He looks ok shirtless…but on the skinny side. And I really hate that shark tattoo.
But I love this video. Oh and FYI..so does Mick Jagger.
