Billy Corgan Slams Courtney Love On TwitterPosted on: April 27, 2010 | Comments Off
The feud between Courtney Love and Billy Corgan has been going on since like….1995 or some shit. If I remember correctly ( and I might not because back in those days I was not the responsible blogger you all know and love today) the ugliness started when Courtney had an affair with Billy behind Kurt Cobain’s back. Even before there was MySpace, Facebook, Twitter or any other time-wasting, micro-social networks these two were slamming each other in Rolling Stone and Blender interviews.
These days it’s easier to keep up with who got the last jab in. Right now, Billy’s in the lead. He posted the following comments directed at Courtney on Twitter Monday. Thought #1: my face is my face, my heart is my heart, my money is my money. Oh, and my songs are MY songs+If you can’t write your own songs? Thought #2: if you can’t write your own songs maybe you should just be happy that you fooled someone into doing your work for you… Or, thought #3:maybe you should go someone nice+live off your husband’s money, u know the money he made for writing all those great songs. Thought #4: when you issue someone an apology on YOUR facebook page you might actually mean it and take responsibility for it. But… Thought #5: the world is aware of your lack of responsibility, as seen in the gov’t taking away your parental right. Only you could abandon! Only u could abandon such a beautiful, incredible child who is smarter than u, cooler than u, and better than u. Oops, did I say too much? Thought #6: so have your moment, burn up in the sun that laughs at u as equally as it appears to celebrate u+sleep knowing u have no honor.
Billy Corgan Explains Why He Loves Jessica SimpsonPosted on: March 8, 2010 | Comments Off
I’m still not sure what is going between Billy Corgan and Jessica Simpson. His explanation in Rolling Stone magazine left me more confused than before. I’m pretty sure he is saying he “loves” her in that way we all “love” John Lennon or Johnny Depp because we know they were/are good men. “If I go, ‘Oh, we’re just friends,’ then it’s like, ‘Did they go out, did he dump her or she dump him, what happened?’ It has nothing to do with any of that,” he tells Rolling Stone. “Sometimes people just like being around each other, and good things come out of that.” The Smashing Pumpkins frontman, 42, says his goal in life is “to love whoever I think is worth loving, and I think if people knew her like I knew her, they would love her like I do. It’s really simple.”
