Alanis Morissette Joining Cast Of “Weeds”

Yeah! It’s almost time for Weeds to come back!! Nancy is pregnant, thank goodness, so her drug-lord boyfriend won’t murder her now and the producers have cast Alanis Morissette as her OBGYN.
A Weeds rep confirms that the Jagged Little Pill actor-singer-songwriter has been cast as pregnant Nancy’s (Mary Louise Parker) trusted baby doc, Audra Kitson. Morissette will appear in a minimum of seven episodes during the upcoming fifth season (debuting June 8), and could return next season as well.
As an addes bonus…rumor is Alanis will appear in some “tasteful nude scenes”. She’ll probably be getting high and sleeping with Silas.

Alanis Morissette Goes Vegan-Loses 20 Pounds

Forget the whole high-fat Atkins low carb thing. That is so 2001. These days its all about detoxing and going clean and vegan.
Alanis Morissette just lost 20 pound using old vegan stand-by diet Eat to Live. FYI – this diet is alot like the one Dr. Ian promotes on Celebrity Fit Club.
“I feel like a 12-year-old!” Alanis Morisette tells OK! of losing 20 pounds on her vegan diet, inspired by Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. “I’m back to what I was born to be, at my best. I used to get out of bed in the morning and things were aching, and I just thought, this is what happens when you get into your 30s. But now I jump out of bed and have so much energy; I feel very alive.”
