The only truly funny or memorable thing that happened at Sunday nights MTV Video Music Awards was Justin Bieber losing his cool when trying to find his way to the stage to accept his Best New Artist Award.

Then there was even more awkwardness when he tried to leave the stage. See kids…he may be a huge pop star loved by millions of crazy tween girls..but he’s still just an awkward 16 year-old boy.

And how cute is Lady Gaga discreetly pointing little Justin in the right direction? (Around the 41 second mark)

Overall, I thought the entire 2010 MTV VMA show was unimpressive. But nothing was more disappointing than the much-hyped Chelsea Handler / Lindsay Lohan skit. It could have been so much more.

In the skit Lindsay confronts Chelsea about her drinking..which Chelsea denies. Yeah, I told you. Not funny.

“Really, then why is your ankle bracelet going off?” Lohan questions in a cheeky reference to her own SCRAM bracelet that she was forced to wear before a judge ordered her to jail.

“Oh that just means that my table’s ready at the Cheesecake Factory,” Handler answers.

Ladies and gents, Les Grossman will be producing the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. And it’s gonna rock!

Say what you will about Tom Cruise and his personal brand of brainwashed crazy..his comedic chops are always DEAD ON. Playing his character from the 2008 satire action/comedy movie Tropic Thunder ,MTV has recently starting releasing the  Les Grossman promos for this years show.

Of course there is a Risky Business pants-less dance scene ..but most people are buzzing about the scenes Les shot with the boys of Twilight.

These two clips feature Twilight saga stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Pattinson goes to Grossman asking him if he can wash his hair for the awards ceremony, and Grossman flips out, saying that doing so would be “flushing his career down the toilet.” His dirty hair, says Grossman, is the reason for his immense success. Pattinson then fearfully promises that if he washes his hair, it will only be with dirt.

In the Lautner clip, the young star goes to Les Grossman trying to get out of the award ceremony, because his friend’s wedding is the same weekend. Grossman then comes up with the brilliant idea of having a look-alike take his place at the wedding. The look-alike, however, is a hefty drunken man with curly hair.

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards takes place on Sunday June 6 at 8pm central on MTV. Be sure to tune in, and in the meantime, be on the look-out for more Les Grossman clips!

Last year Britney Spears and Russell Brand did the ‘elephant in the room’ bit for the 2008 VMA promo’s…you know right after Britney had her major meltdown and just before what I like to call “Pudgy Gate”. You know what I’m talking about…that epically awful performance of Gimme More.

This year, their bit is about mind reading.
