Cate Blanchett shocked the world with her dramatic and scary weight loss at the Met Costume Institute gala. Cate usually has one of the most enviable womanly figures in Hollywood but her gorgeous curves have been replaced with sharp shoulder bones and strange bruises.

I am going to hope and pray that this shocking weight loss is for Cate’s role in the new Bob Dylan biopic and not a case of a intelligent woman getting caught up in the Hollywood machine. I just don’t see Cate Blanchett with an eating disorder.
