To add to our disappointment and anger at MTV for tricking us into thinking that Britney Spears was going to perform at the 2008 MTV VMA’s, it’s been confirmed that she will perform on British television soon.

Britney has agreed to appear and perform on the UK hit show The X Factor. The UK Sun says, “Everyone is thrilled. To have Britney involved is a massive coup. They expect ratings to go through the roof when her performance airs.”

Don’t get too cocky Britian…this is a obviously just a warm up performance for Britney’s big US comeback performance. You guys are just Guinea pigs.
