Sadly, we did not get to see an old-skool Britney Spears performance on the MTV VMA’s, but we did get to see a healthy/happy Brit-Brit take home a bushel of awards.

After years of being denied a moon-man, Britney won every single award she was nominated for this year. That’s three in all if you are counting. In addition to winning Best Female Video, she took home awards for Best Pop Video and the biggest mug of the night; Video of the Year.

Either people still love them some Britney, or MTV is giving till it hurts to help Brit-Brit make her much needed comeback. Either way, it’s a relief to see our favorite former pop-wreck fully clothed and clean.
