After weeks of rumors People magazine has confirmed that Britney Spears is dating strait-laced professional Jason Trawick.

Britney’s new hook-up is no doubt less true love and more a relationship that is approved by her controlling father Jamie. She’s probably just taking what she can get at this point.

“They are totally and definitely dating. Her dad loves him. He’s the best thing that has happened to her. They’re very sweet together. Britney has always had a crush on Jason. He makes her really happy, and he’s great with the boys,” the source added.
