Page Six reported an interesting tidbit of gossip on 6/5:

WHICH super-skinny celeb says she wants to gain weight but can’t? Seems that when she was not so thin, she had her stomach stapled and is stuck with her skeletal look . . .

My money is on Nicole Richie.
It would certainly explain why Nicole has admitted that she wants to gain weight but is having trouble. Also, her ex-fiance, DJ AM had his stomach stapled a few years ago, so it wouldn’t be a foreign idea to her. Whoever it is, you know they were not heavy enough and did not have health issues that would warrant such a drastic procedure, so that means there is a crazy unethical doctor out there stapling young girls (with eating disorders and body image problems) stomachs!
