The shocking secrets of deceased heiress Casey Johnsons life keep popping up. I’ve reported before that Casey wanted nothing more than to be famous. She was actively shopping reality show ideas the last few years of her life. (Which explains her strange relationship with Tila Tequila)

Even before Tila sucked what life was left out of her, Casey had plans with ex-girlfriend Courtenay Semel to sell their sex tape to jump start her career.

“We had our own sex tape,” Johnson’s ex Courtenay Semel tells E! News exclusively. “It was either listen to our families and do what they say to get our lives back, or do it ourselves and sell this tape, work on our show. That was kind of our plan.”

Semel says they used to remind each other, “We can get the money. We’ve already filmed it—why don’t we just put it out there and we’ll just take the money for it. We don’t need our parents.”

Instead, they used the video as leverage when negotiating with their relatives.

“We used it as bribery on both sides of our families,” Semel admits.

“We laughed when we watched our sex tape because we were like, ‘This is the most beautiful piece of art work we have ever seen in our lives,’ ” Semel says. “It’s beautiful…When you find that person that’s literally your other half. We don’t care to show this. You could just tell how much, how in love, we were.”

Semel claims they were planning to release the film as a teaser for their reality show, which was in development.

“Our show could’ve gone after that,” she claims. “Casey and Courtenay were going to make Casey and Courtenay happen.”

Ugh. How disturbing is this news? It’s just everyday norm these days to promote yourself via sex tape. Or use it like a spoiled brat to bribe your very rich family.

George Clooney spoke with MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway this afternoon about his goals for Friday’s multi-network Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief telethon, which airs tomorrow @ 8 PM.

George will co-host the event alongside Wyclef Jean, and spoke with Sway about how the historic television event came together, how the telethon will make the most impact and the role of music in times of tragedy.

Wyclef Jean, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, and Sting will join Madonna in New York City to perform. Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder and Taylor Swift will perform live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, while Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z, and Rihanna will join Beyonce in London.

Mischa Barton so broke she can’t pay her rent, ya’ll. Mishy’s landlord says the actress is refusing to pay rent on her $7000 a month apartment in New York City.

Mischa leased the apartment last September when she was starring on the CW’s The Beautiful Life….and we all know how that ended. Since then she’s done nothing really except her upcoming bit part on Law & Order SVU, and by all accounts things are not going well on that set and she will not be invited back.

Landlord M.R.A. Realties Inc. says in a lawsuit that Barton rebuffed efforts to collect the last three months’ worth of rent on her flat in the trendy Tribeca neighborhood.

Homegirl isn’t refusing to pay…she can’t pay..she broke.

If you felt blindsided by Heidi Montag’s marathon plastic surgery binge, think about how her family  and friends must feel. Heidi kept her plans from everyone, including her mother.

Nine weeks and four breast sizes later…Heidi’s mom is said to be “Horrified”.

“I still can’t believe I’m 23 and mom is reacting this way,” Montag tells PEOPLE. “I’m nervous to go home and face her – especially with cameras rolling.”

Montag’s mom, who lives in Colorado where the reality star grew up, will get her wish soon. “Heidi is planning to head back to her small town of Crested Butte very soon,” says the source.

Don’t worry…we’ll get to see all the drama play out next season on the MTV hit, as cameras will catch every moment.

According to the New York Times, Conan O’Brien has lost The Tonight Show war. Or won, depending on how you look at it. NBC will announce later today that they have reached a $45 million  / 8 month back to work agreement with Coco.

Conan gave up some of his own severance to his staff. In the end, Conan’s will actually get $32 million. Conan’s staff will get the rest.

Conan’s manager issued a statement to the Wall Street Journal:

“Conan was appreciative of the steps NBC made to take care of his staff and crew, and decided to supplement the severance they were getting out of his own pocket. Now he just wants to get back on the air as quickly as possible.”

Coco’s final show will be this Friday. Wow..that was fast. They want homeboy outta there.

At least Jon Cryer thinks so. The Two and a Half Men star is in the middle of an  ugly  divorce/custody battle with his crazy wife, Sarah Trigger. He says biatch so crazy that  she may have put a price on his head.

Production was shut down on the hit CBS comedy last Friday after they received a death threat against Jon. They were able to finish taping later after the studio audience was evacuated.

The FBI has been investigating the allegation for the past week.

While I admit that a death threat is extreme…I  doubt she really wants him dead. She wants his money..all his money. That’s why they are still fighting and haven’t settled anything. You all know chicks like this…she just wants to scare him and she  has zero power in the relationship so all she can do is threaten him and use their kid against him. Don’t worry. Ducky is safe.
