Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are now officially hitched. The couple tied the knot in Ashlee’s parents back yard in Encino, California Saturday night.

Approximately 150 guests gathered beneath white tents erected on the Simpson property to witness the nondenominational ceremony which was officiated by Joe Simpson himself. Guests included Nicole Richie, who wore a long flowing purple dress, and Joel Madden. Inside the tents the decor was goth rocker: black rugs, white couches with red pillows, black chandeliers and lots of red roses.

Ashlee, four months pregnant now BTW, wore a Monique Lhuillier dress and her man wore a Dior Homme tux. At the request of Ashlee and Pete, the guest all wore dark colors like blue, black or grey. Isn’t that a little…..obnoxious? Come celebrate our love…but only if you dress right so our wedding pictures look emo-licous.
