An autopsy is scheduled to performed on Anna Nicole Smith today by Dr. Joshua Perper, the chief Broward County. Dr. Perper said if her death was from natural causes the finding would be announced quickly, but he cautions the definitive results could take weeks. This means that we probably won’t know for a long time what really happened to Anna Nicole.

But we do have a little more information this morning as to what happened yesterday. Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger said a private nurse called 911 after finding Anna Nicole. Anna’s bodyguard performed CPR, paramedics gave Anna a drug that is commonly used to counter effect drug overdose, but Anna was still pronounced dead at the hospital.

Late Thursday afternoon, two sheriff’s deputies carried out at least eight brown paper bags sealed with evidence tape from Anna’s hotel room. An unnamed sourced told Access Hollywood that an employee of Smith found her first and upon pulling back a sheet that was covering her, it appeared that she had chocked on her own vomit. This same source says the Anna had been taking a ‘children’s sedative’ and kept passing out before she died.

“Undoubtedly it will be found at the end of the day that drugs featured in her death as they did in the death of poor Daniel,” said a former attorney for Smith in the Bahamas.

It’s really all about finding out now if it was accidental or not.
