As I sit here on election day about to make my choice for the lesser of two evils, I am wondering why more people can just be real and let the world work the way it is supposed to. Today Angelina Jolie is trying desperately to save the world by her more then generous charitable donations and UN work, but she doesn’t try to pretend like she once wasn’t a drug-takin’-girl kissing-knife sex loving freak. Maybe if politicians were as honest with each other and us, society as we know it wouldn’t be about to collapse.

“I don’t walk around feeling I need to apologize or explain myself,” the 33-year-old actress tells December’s Harper’s Bazaar. “I am still, at heart – and always will be – just a punk kid with tattoos.”
