Parental conservatorship is cool! All the hip kids are doing it. Seeing how well a conservatorship has worked for the whacked-out Britney Spears, cracked-out Amy Winehouse has wisely made the decision to do the same.
Amy has given her parents Mitch and Janis control of her $21 million fortune. While the money is still Amy’s alone, she can’t spend it without the ‘rent’s approval.

Sounds like a good move, and some sources say this move if proof that Amy is finally ready to turn her life around. She’s getting rid of that junkie husband, getting clean and tan in St. Lucia and she has somehow nabbed a headliner spot in the 2009 Coachella lineup.
