Is it sad or funny that the 24-year-old Russian pop singer that has been having an affair with the 53 year-old, married Mel Gibson thinks their relationship is serious? Oksana Pochepa has come forth and admitted that she is the mysterious woman that was photographed with Mel in Costa Rica last week.

“This is serious and I hope that our union will be real and strong and long-lasting,” she said Tuesday.

Other sources on the set of  Gibson’s upcoming thriller Edge of Darkness confirm the affair.

“They would come out and attempt to walk around separately, but then at the end of the day, they both returned to the same hotel,” the on-set source tells Us. “She was there on and off for a week, but it was clear she had no business there other than to be with Mel.”
