Los Angeles police chief William Bratton thinks that he and his boys in blue have the celebrity/paparazzi problem under control. When Chief Bratton was asked to attend a City Hall meeting, attended by John Mayer, to discuss ways to restrict the aggressive paparazzi he refused. Then he blamed the entire problem on Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.

Chief Bratton went off on the girls on a television interview Thursday. He claimed that “photographers have calmed down since Britney started wearing clothes and Lindsay went gay.”

“If the ones that attract the paparazzi behave in the first place, like we expect of anybody, that solves about 90 per cent of the problem. The rest we can deal with. If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank God, and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don’t seem to have much of an issue.”

Shia LaBeouf’s boss says that he was not drunk when he flipped his big old truck earlier this week. Michael Bay, director of ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen‘ is trying to get some good spin going for his boy. In an interview with Access Hollywood that will air August 1^st, Bay claims that his best money-maker was not under the influence at the time of the crash.

“You’re gonna see – that’s gonna go away,” Bay said. “That’s fresh news… He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before.”

Bay goes on to say that the DUI charges will soon be dropped, all will be good, people will love Shia again and he will continue to make millions.

Britney Spears may be getting better, but she is still codependent as hell. The Sun is reporting that the hunky guy seen with Britney in those bikini pictures earlier this week is her bodyguard/ minder/ex-Isreali soldier, Lee.

The Sun says that Lee is the fourth dude on her payroll that she has had a “relationship” with in the past six months. Sam Lufti, Adnan Ghalib being two of those “boyfriends”.  Lee has been working hard to keep Britney safe and healthy and even spends most of his off days with her as well.

“Britney and Lee hit it off immediately. He is her perfect type. She loves guys who work out and he is in great shape from his days serving in the Israeli Army. He also has a few tattoos, which she loves. They’ve spent so much time together that one thing led to another and their relationship became physical. They are in Mexico together. They’ve been having a great time – Lee’s put a smile on her face.”

Jessica Simpson is trying to turn her personal pain into country gold. In one of her awful new songs titled ‘Remember That’ she sings about being abused.

“It doesn’t matter how he hurts you / With his hands or with his words / You don’t deserve it / It ain’t worth it / Take your heart and run.”

Jess recently told Elle magazine that the song came from a time in her life when she was in an abusive relationship. She won’t come clean about who it was of course.

“I don’t want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run.”

Who do you kids think it is? Nick Lachey? John Mayer? That tool from Maroon 5? The thought of any of these guys pushing around those DD’s makes me laugh.

Serendipitously, Details magazine September issue features DUI-boy Shia LeBeouf and the accompanying interview delves into the actors drinking issues. A rep for Details says they are not purposely trying to cash in on Shia’s misfortune stating that, “It’s already gone to print. Just coincidence in timing.”

In the issue that hits stands Monday, August 5^th, Shia talks about drinking with his father, his lack of control over his own drinking and the infamous Walgreens incident.

On drinking:

“It’s not something that is conducive to being a role model. … And I don’t know how to do it like a gentleman. I don’t know how to have one drink.”

On Walgreens:

“It was two hotheads. One completely in the wrong, one who wasn’t enjoying his job that night, going at it about minuscule bullshit.”

Barrack Obama is not down with the the black man’s rap music. Especially when it could hurt his campaign and rip the title of First Black President out from under him. Rapper Ludacris just released a new joint that was supposed to be a Obama anthem but was rejected faster than chocolate cake at Victoria Beckham’s house.

In the new song Luda calls Hillary Clinton a “bitch” and says John McCain “don’t belong in any chair unless he’s paralyzed, but he didn’t just hate on the white folks, he took a big dig at Jesse Jackson too.

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton issued a statement, condemning Luda for his ridiculous lyrics.

“As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to. This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics.”

The Harry Potter films get darker and darker as the series progresses. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince looks morose enough for even the hipster emo kid to enjoy.

In an uncharacteristically creative new ad, John McCain compares Barrack Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, McCain clams that his opponent is simply famous being famous like Britney and Paris and has no real substance.

This is the first time since the President race started that McCain has shown that he has the cahones of a war hero, and the best part is he has completely pissed off the entire Hilton family. Apparently Rick and Kathy are campaign contributers and don’t take kindly to McCain making a fool out of their eldest. She does that just fine on her own, thank you.
