Britney Spears can’t ever just get out of her own way. Our favorite popwreck created a whole new can of worms for her custody attorney to deal with as she celebrated her 26th birthday at the Scandinavian Mansion of Style over the weekend with frenemy Paris Hilton. Apparently the girls were having so much fun that Brit wanted to include her ex-husband in the festivities. Page Six reports that Britney wanted to call Kevin but couldn’t find her cellphone so she had to borrow one from Paris.

“She begged him to come out with her,” a source said, “[but] “Kevin reminded her that one of them needed to be a parent and take care of the boys. Then she hung up on him. Kevin said she was drinking.”
