This whole Madonna adoption story is stinking to high heaven. The UK Daily Mail has a very interesting article that is basically claiming that Yohane Banda, the father of the one-year old Madonna is trying to adopt, was blindsided by the force of nature that is Madonna. The entire sordid affair reeks of preferential American celebrity treatment. You need to read the entire article to get the full story, but here a few important facts:

1)Yohane Banda (the father) said he had not been able to understand the nine page adoption document written in English that was presented to him by the director of the orphanage that his son was living in.

2)Yohane told reporters how David had been living in the orphanage since his mothers death, but the intention was that he would return one day to live with his father.

3)David was offered for adoption without his father’s knowledge when his picture was sent, along with those of 12 other suitable boy babies by email to Madonna.

4)Yohane mentioned that he didn’t understand how this happened so fast.

Madonna had to leave little David in Malawi last week due to a paperwork glitch, so he is once again back at the orphanage after spending a week in Madonna’s opulant digs. The article is illuminating and heartbreaking and although you have to admit that this boy will have a much better material life with Madonna, it still makes one wonder why Madge didn’t want to just help the struggling family get on their feet instead of splitting them up. But what do I know?
