Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler has been secretly battling hepatitis C — a serious viral infection of the blood, often associated with dirty needles, that can lead to chronic liver disease. During a period when Aerosmith was taking a break, Steven’s doctor put him on an 11 month interferon treatment program that Tyler described by saying, “it about killed me.â€? An admitted recovering drug addict, Tyler told “Access Hollywood’” that after a year of interferon treatments, “It is nonexistent in my bloodstream … where it’s like a complete cure.”

It was a really crappy year for Steven, during this horrible treatment that would wake him up in the middle of the night with violent nosebleeds, his marriage to Teresa Barrick also fell apart. Just like Pamela Anderson, Steven is sort of becoming a celebrity spokesperson for the disease. He says, “Hepatitis C is the one that, of all the people in this room, at least three have it and don’t know it. It’s the silent killer. I may go on ‘Oprah’ and talk about this.” Oprah gets all the good celebrity disease stories.

And now there are rumors that is where Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie will be going to adopt a child to add to their family. You know your country has ‘made it’ when Madge comes to town.

Some say this adoption is an attempt to strengthen their weak marriage. Reports on digitalspy.com say that, “Originally Madonna and Guy planned to adopt only one child. But when they were told that might mean breaking up a family unit they immediately said they would take siblings or twins if it was the right thing to do. They want the children to be as young as possible but are prepared to take kids up to the age of four. And they are also willing to consider a child with special needs arising from being abandoned in an orphanage.”
