When I first heard the rumor that Natasha Henstridge may be playing my childhood idol, Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, I was a little upset. I mean, Princess Diana was an Amazonian warrior. She was tough, strong and most of all brunette! I identified with her and constantly borrowed my mothers gold dangle bracelets to use as my superhero wristcuffs. I had my wrist cross defense move down pat.
My childhood memories and current disappointment aside, the rumor is that Natasha has the first fifty pages of the movie script. So she is either Wonder Woman or possibly has a smaller part in the film. But there are also rumors that she may be a character on the next season of the tv show “Lost”. Many Wonder Woman aficionados think that Charisma Carpenter (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel) would have been a perfect match, but right now it’s all speculation. And besides, what do I know. I would NEVER have cast Toby McQuire as Spiderman either, and people seemed to buy him in that role. Natasha better get her gold bracelets out and start practicing if she is going to pull this off.

Hollywood action hero Vin Diesel has apparently sparked up a romance with US TV presenter Maria Menounos. The “XXX” star first struck up a bond with Maris Menounos when she interviewed him on the news show “Access Hollywood,” but the pair were recently spotted at a performance of the musical “Chicago” in New York.

Hmmmm. I thought Vin Diesel was one of the Hollywood ’secret gay’ guys. But then again, they WERE at a musical.

Gwen finally wears some normal looking, non-dashiki clothing as her post baby slim down continues. But wait, there is more good news, Gwen is back in the studio this week recording sooner than we all expected after baby Kingston’s birth. I hope there is a quiet spot somewhere in the studio for the little cutie, because she sure brought him with her.

I’m not sure what’s she got going on here, but this look just screams, “I’m a scatterbrained 11th grade Science teacher with 12 cats and towers of books all over my apartment” to me.
